Instrument Rating

Want to share your passion for aviation with others by teaching them how to fly?  Our Certified Flight Instructor program will give you a deep knowledge and understanding of aviation necessary to be a successful, safe instructor.  Being a flight instructor is an excellent way to increase your knowledge in aviation, build valuable flight hours, and boost your professional resume.  Our instructors’ variety of experience and individual attention will help you become a well-rounded instructor.

Aerobatic Instruction

Whether it is for the pleasure or a better understanding of the aerodynamic principles affecting an aircraft, Aerobatic Instruction is a valuable training course for any pilot.  You will fly our highly reliable and well maintained 1979 Cessna 152 Aerobat.   Our instructors will make sure you gain a thorough knowledge on how and why an aircraft spins as well as safe methods for conducting aerobatic maneuvers.  This is one of our most enjoyed training programs.  Aerobatic Instruction is a required course in the Certified Flight Instructor training program per FAA regulations.

Other Advanced Instruction

Complex Aircraft Endorsement

Whether you have a Private Pilot’s license and want to fly more complex aircraft or would like to work towards your Commercial Pilot certificate, our short yet thorough Complex Aircraft Endorsement course will give you the knowledge and essential skills to operate a complex aircraft.  A complex aircraft is defined as an aircraft with retractable landing gear, a constant speed propeller, and flaps (or if the aircraft is driven by a turbine engine).  Your complex aircraft training will be completed in our nicely equipped PA-28R-200 Piper Arrow.  This is widely known as one of the best training aircraft for a complex aircraft endorsement.

Instrument Proficiency Course

Have you fallen out of instrument currency?  Our Certified Flight Instrument Instructors would be glad to help you regain your currency so you can fly in Instrument Meteorological Conditions again as PIC.  This short refresher ground and flight course will make sure you are a confident, proficient instrument pilot.  At the conclusion of this course, you will receive an endorsement from one of our instructors to operate under Instrument Flight Rules.

Flight Review

Has it been over 2 years since you had a flight review or flight review qualifying activity?  We can help you regain your proficiency and get you flying again.  A flight review consists of a minimum of one hour of ground and one hour of flight.  Our instructors will take a personal approach in tailoring your flight review to the type of flying you are interested in doing.  They will also ask if you have any weak areas that you would like to concentrate on.  At the conclusion of your flight review, you will receive an endorsement from one of our instructors certifying you accomplished your Flight Review.

Advanced Night Flying Course

The majority of flight training done by any flight school is accomplished during the day.  A large percentage of maneuvers require visual reference to the ground, leaving many pilots with the meager minimum FAA required hours of night flying for each certificate or rating.  To correct this deficiency, we have created an Advanced Night Flying Course.  In this course, you will gain detailed knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of night flying.  Our experienced instructors will help you gain confidence in night flying.  No matter what time of day it is, you will still be a proficient, safe pilot.
